About Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

MADD was founded in 1980 by Candace Lightner after her 13-year-old daughter, Cari, was killed by a drunk driver. This organization has a presence in every U.S. State. MADD’s mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, prevent underage drinking, and support the victims of all these crimes. Since the organization’s establishment, it has saved hundreds of thousands of lives and has aided the victims and the survivors of impaired drivers.

“I am humbled and honored to be recognized as a MADD Hero Award recipient. I fully support MADD’s mission in my vocation as an advocate for personal injury victims and I will continue my Firm’s fight to help end drunk driving and to hold drunk and impaired drivers accountable. I provide justice to crash victims for a living and justice has zero tolerance for those who choose to put me, my family, and my clients at risk by driving impaired. I will continue this fight for the rest of my life.  Thank you to MADD, I take my responsibility to further your mission seriously.”
